Feedlot Cattle - Steers and heifers
I can formulate rations, minerals, supplements to meet the needs of your farm and cattle. Whether you want to feed a loose mineral or want to feed it in a TMR, I can do both. Alot of my farms are feeding a loose mineral during the summer months and a mineral in the TMR mix in the winter, but I can adjust to the way you want to feed it. I have minerals that have been formulated for farms with fly control in it, with rumensin for feed efficiency and Coccidia prevention, I have formulated plain mineral mixes with just a carrier so that the minerals do not separate. I am willing to help you with what you need and formulate your minerals for the feeds you are feeding. If you are feeding them only pasture, corn silage, haylage, cracked corn, wet gluten, DDG, wet distillers, grass hay or alfafla hay, or whatever your fancy I can balance a ration for those. However, I do like to get samples of the feeds so that i know what i am working with and so that i can formulate the rations to the correct values for the best of the feedlot steers and heifers and what they need and dont' need in the rations, minerals, or supplements. When i work with my clients I sit down one on one and discuss things with them as to what their goals are, how much if an ADG they are wanting, what their stocks current condition is, when they will begin feeding a group, how many groups will they have, at what weights will they want to start a new group and so forth, and any management questions that they might have or need help with. It is my job to help you keep your stock and feedlot steers and heifers healthy, growing well, and easy to maintain, and that is what I am here to do. Any questions please don't hesitate to email me firstname.lastname@example.org I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have concerning your cattle.
If you would like any examples of feed lot rations and projections please let me know. I will not give out rations, but will show you what things can be done with your rations for your cows. I will try to post some different feed lot minerals here soon.
